Marmari town is situated on the west of the Island of Kos and there are flights and ferries waiting to take you there from Greece's capital Athens, both options are also available from many of the other Greek islands. A bus runs every hour from Kos town to Mamari until late in the evening, alternatively you can hire a car or taxi at the airport. The time zone is GMT+1.

Things to do and see on holiday in Marmari?

Marmari holidays are filled with some notable highlights, including ancient Turkish ruins, the huge LIDO water park and the 14th century fortress in the harbour at nearby Kos. Vistors often enjoy a boat trip around the island or head into the nearby historic village of Pyli which features the ruins of a Byzantine castle and an ancient church hidden amongst the pines.
