Very good. I thought the choice of Mediterranean food such as falafel for lunch was very thoughtful considering we were flying to Cairo.
I wouldn't recommend Lufthansa otherwise. We took this flight only because our flight to Kittilä got cancelled and Lufthansa offered a replacement which would have been two days later, with a night in Frankfurt and another in Munich. We refused the replacement but the staff at the airport entered in the system claiming that we accepted the replacement.. We didn't get the full refund because of this.
Crew were professionals. However, the plane seats are too small -essentially there is no space to move around which for so many hours is almost inhuman but certainly unacceptable. Same with the bad quality of food and the fact that you need to purchase Wi-Fi
It wasn’t bad but it was not excellent either. The airlines are trying to save as much money as possible and we are paying price for it. Flying is not as it used to be.
The flight was about 10 minutes late which made it kind of tight for connection in Frankfurt. One think that was helpful for my husband and I since we don’t speak the language was when we got off the shuttle bus, two ground crew told us very clearly how to make the connection.
All was good. I would have preferred free drinks besides water (coffee/tea).
The agent, who took my mother to her gate, kept talking with one of her male coworkers and treating my mother like a sack of potatoes. She was ignoring my questions because she was too busy flirting with her male colleague. This was a very unprofessional behavior. We also had to wait for close to half an hour for an agent to arrive.
Delayed flight with no explanations; poorly managed gate and boarding process.
Great flight. Friendly crew. Good food. Nice clean cabin and toilet was a good size. I like the starliner.
Upgraded to business class and it was worth every dollar! The connection in Denver was way too tight time wise and going through customs there plus re-visiting security screen again caused me to miss my connecting flight. KAYAK should not allow that tight of connection on international flights.
