We boarded the plane and waited for 30 minutes ultimately for them to cancel the flight due to engineering issues.
Complete mess. Our reservation was mistakenly cancelled. After almost missing the connection and walking all over the Munich airport, the Service desk got involved and we were run to our flight. Not all 4 of us in Business and not seated together as originally booked. This was the worst treatment I have ever had. And I travel a lot. 1K million miler.
Love the little chocolate bars, and consumer rights in EU regarding stepped refunds when flights are delayed.
Delayed over 2 hours. Bring your own snacks or prepare to pay. No entertainment and no plug plugs for charging.
My schedule flight was rebooking and changed to Chicago, then I did not used the flight from Dulles to Savannah
I have flown with many airlines. My first time was several years ago. Now I remember why I avoided them for so long. Lufthanza is the only airline who has ever raised a size/weight issue with my modest standard size carry on. I had to repack three times to meet their carry-on weight criteria. (Apparently the rules of physics apply differently on Lufthansa flight than on other airlines.) In the meantime their staff was quite rude, repeating meaningless phrases like "Rules are Rules." And ignoring the additional fact that weight is also weight, whether it is in found in your carry on or in your suitcase. They eventually acknowledged that customer service and satisfaction is, for them, a low priority. Never choosing Lufthansa again.
I remember flying with Lufthansa many years ago, and it used to be an amazing airline with more technologically savvy and roomy planes, but unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore. The space between the seats is much smaller, which is ok for short flights, but definitely not for across the Atlantic flights. Not sure if I’ll opt for Lufthansa the next time, maybe just if necessary.
The food was straight up bad not gonna lie, seats are uncomfortable so I had to re-adjust my self most of the time, delayed our arrival time by alot.
Boarding delayed 1.5 hours. Ended up sick because of all the delays and lines waiting around airport and boarding.
Terrible consideration when it comes to connecting flights. We were given 50 minutes to deplane, get through costumes, get through security check. For someone with a heart condition, running miles through the airport was not the best way
