9.1 Wonderful
Pros:Facilities and rooms were simple, as you would expect from a hostel, but all the basics were there and everything was very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and patient with my cluelessness, as it was my first time traveling in Taiwan alone. They even gave me very detailed instructions on how to get to Taipei without me asking. I would go as far as to say the service was even better than what I've gotten at a five-star hotel, due to the very personal touch from the staff, who treated me like they genuinely cared about me as a person, not a client.
Cons:Being super nitpicky here, but there weren't any towels to wipe my hands off with in the bathroom, so I had to wipe my hands on my clothes. They had some tissues in there, but those aren't suitable for wiping wet hands, as they're very thin and break apart easily. That being said, it wasn't a big deal and I would definitely stay again.
