I like the rate. I did not like that my insurance card had to be presented because my insurance card lives in my personal vehicle. This was the first time renting a car that my I had to present the insurance card to rent the car. Also I was not happy that the car insurance i paid for on the web site was not accepted by Green Motion. i had to purchase additional insurance to rent your vehicle. I also did not like that once inside the rental facility the line stated "U-Save" and not Green Motion. Please clarify that it is the same agency in the future.

The car.

We picked up the car at LONDON GATWICK airport and it would have been helpful if the girl who processed our pick up could have informed us about the LONDON CONGESTION CHARGE. We learned about it after driving in to London twice. You can pay the charge before going in to London and it is A LOT CHEAPER.. now we have to pay the fines AND PAY ENTERPRISE A 35 GBP processing fee per fine. I understand it is our responsibility to be aware of things but a little heads up would have been appreciated. Especially when we dropped off the car at Stansted and were told by the young man who processed the return that we should have been advised about the London Congestion charge.

Pros:

Vehicle cleanliness and overall high standard of maintenance that was obvious from the beginning.

Cons:

Salesman used fear mongering and scare tactics in order to force an upgrade on the insurance coverage, ever after they had been shown a 3rd party full coverage proof of insurance. Salesman was manipulative and overall dishonest with regard to the percentage of all rentals returned with serious or 'dead-lining' mechanical damage for drivers who did/did not purchase the additional insurance coverage from the agency.

Pros:

Price. efficiency of pick up and drop off. Color of car. Gas mileage. Looks of car (lots of amused comments). Size for traffic and city driving. Your staff were super helpful.

Cons:

Engine size - zero power. Enough for around town but on a long trip (London to Exeter) not good. Seats were not great for long ride - was glad to get out. BUT it did the job and we'll be back.

Everything was great from start to finish. We got a nice new SUV as requested, drop and pickup were easy and we got our $250 deposit back with no issues a few days later. Credit card was enough for insurance and we were warned about the risk of not getting additional insurance but not forced to actually take it. Overall amazing experience!

Even though we had coverage from a 3rd part insurance provider they insisted that we left with their basic cover package at $40 extra a day. I sent a few emails and they removed the charge 48hours later and refunded for the 2 days.

Pros:

Kayak and carrentals were providing incomplete information about car rental process and cost. Quotation was given without insurance cost which once added inflated the overall cost to become very expensive and noncompetitive. This may be good for US residents with the right credit card.

Cons:

You must provide clear guidance on insurance issue and whether it is included or not. I paid four times the quoted price for half the period and my main concern was to return the vehicle ASAP rather than getting on with my trip. The trick of small print was not expected from big providers like you.

Pros:

The car was fine and the staff was friendly.

Cons:

The rental agency is in the Crown Plaza Hotel in Crawley far from the airport. The shuttle only comes once every 45 minutes so be sure to very arrive early not to miss your flight, and be prepared for a long cold wait at the bus stop.

They tried to rip me off! didn't provide me with a damage for the existent damage and the employee said will provide it latter but I took pictures before I use the vehicle. Now they are saying the car never been damaged and I have to be charged for the old damages as according to their system the car never been damaged and the vehicle year is 2021! I disputed it and sent my proves but it is very poor management and it is stress and anxiety no needs for me to go through I put down a cheaper options to be with reputable company but National/Enterprise prove me wrong.

Total cost for car reservation online was $157. Once I picked up the car, there was an unexpected and additional 80Euro charge if crossing a border with the vehicle. This was never mentioned beforehand. Additionally, my credit card was charged 1400Euro deposit, which was also never mentioned anywhere previously. I called Budget customer service and spoke to an agent, who was extremely rude and unhelpful. I will never use Budget again!

The car was excellent and in excellent condition, but there were a lot of hidden fees that the company kept silent about. When choosing a car, the price on the website was $68 for two days, with hidden fees they charged $412 for two days. This is not pleasant, the company must inform customers about hidden fees. I will never go to Budget again because I feel cheated.

The agent I worked with at the counter when picking up the vehicle was excellent, and I am sorry, but I don't have her name handy. Hopefully, you all can see that from the paperwork and will give her kudos, as she did a fantastic job and was super friendly and helpful. She is a valuable asset to your company. I watched her work with the customers before me, and they left with the same sense of gratitude that I had when I finished working with her. Especially after the day I had been traveling.

Being Scammed for fuel is not a good experience especially from a brand such as Sixt. I rented a car with a supposed full tank. the Car is a small Car and that can hardly burn more than 5/6 litres per 100km. After I drove 130 KM and returned the car, I had to fill in 15.3 liters . this only means one thing, the car was not full. the second car I rented and that I am still driving, shows 670km autonomy and a small red band at the fuel level indicator. Again NOT Full. I have no idea what games are being played at this location with Fuel, but it looks like a Scam to me. SIXT Better ACT

We felt fortunate to get our rental. There were only two agents working, by the time our delayed fight arrived, and the customer lines were very long. We were relieved to get a car, despite the fact that many customers did not. The customer service agent was very friendly and helpful.

Their shuttle never came even though we waited over an hour and a half. We kept calling and after 20-30 min waits in their phone system they assured us the shuttle was on its way. Finally it was approaching closing time so we had to take a Lyft to the company so they wouldn't close on us. They shrugged and said the shuttle guy had gone home half an hour ago. Then it took an hour to get the cars because they were short staffed. Would NOT recommend and will never use again.

It was very difficult to find the shuttle bus and I was wandering around the airport for over an hour, asking other car rental staff and information desks for assistance. The easirent company desk did not answer my phone calls and I began to suspect I was being scammed. I evebtually found the shuttle bus, but when I arrived on site I was a bit nervous that I was going to get scammed. There were a lot of hidden fees that people at the desk only told me about once I was at their location and away from the competition at the airport. For example, if you do not have a return flight confirmation number, there was a $500 uncharge on your rental. I was also given a random car that was available, and not a car that I originally selected when I booked the rental. The people at the desk also refused to give me a receipt for the $200 security deposit hold that was put on my credit card. When I turned in my car 4 days later, they did not issue a receipt, despite my concerns about the deposit hold clearing from my credit line. Given that I was on a time crunch to get to my flight, I believe they knew they had more power to deny me. The rental price was cheaper than the competition, but I believe that the consumer pays for that cost difference in time and risk. Buyers should be wary and ask the company for as much information as possible in advance before booking!

Easirent has separate policies from Kayak that weren’t disclosed. On my booking confirmation (that came through Expedia for some reason), the rental agreement says unlimited miles. When I picked up the car, they said there were limited miles and I would need to pay an additional $25 per day for unlimited miles. I would not have booked through Easirent if their company policy was made clear when I booked. They should not be marketed as unlimited miles on Kayak only to be charged for unlimited miles when you’re picking up the car.

It was horrible. It took them more than an hour even I pre checked. My booking was for a small SUV but I end up having a Kia Forte (a compact sedan). The car was a wreck. No alignment and the car was too noisy. Inside was stained and so dirty that we have to put towels to cover it. I will never ever rent a car from this company. Kayak should delist them altogether. Only good thing was the person who served me, his name is Richard.

as a negative, there was a delay when we were picking up the car, because the staff on duty was insufficient to handle the influx of new renters at that peak time of the day as a negative, i did not know i needed to have details of my personal auto insurance rental policy, in order to decline their insurance - since i was unprepared in that way, i had to pick up the extra insurance, and that greatly increased the effective insurance as a positive, i had a scratch appear on the car (i am not sure how or when) and a small dent in the body (front cornerpanel near hood), and they told me it was considered minor, and there would be not charge or insurance claim - they could have played "hardball" and charged me for it, but they showed moderation and good faith

The shuttle driver went above and beyond to help me when my bag did not make it into the shuttle heading back to the airport. He was very proactive to fine my bag and was very expeditious in his task of getting me taken care of. We had a low pressure tire light come up and we were close to the store. I stopped by to have them look at it and in 15 mins they had replaced two of the tires and had us back on our way. Very impressed.

Had a great overall experience with Arnold Clark except for the pickup. Pickup location at airport is terrible and confusing. After calling and getting direction we finally found it, but then the driver missed us and left us standing in the rain. Had to call a second time to get picked up. Otherwise it was all good.

Our original car, Peugeot 2008 was mechanically faulty. The clutch broke and caused the car the inability to move 15/20 minutes after picking up the vehicle. Lots of smoke etc. We were on a motorway at the time, No verge so a dangerous area to stop, we called recovery and after an hour a tow truck was sent, We returned to our pick point and eventually were given a new vehicle, We are from overseas. This did cause some distress to me ( the driver). Also having to pay £65 to return the car to a different location a half hour away was I thought an unnecessary expense.
