Good location, but the night time access and security is pretty bad. They lock the front door at dark, so if you arrive afterward, you have to walk up a driveway entrance on the side to get around the back to enter the lobby. No card access like even the cheapest hotel chains offer. Parking is pretty sketchy. There are only about a dozen spots inside the gate and the rest of the paid parking is across the unlighted side street with no security. If you park there after dark, you have to walk a half-block down to St. Charles, down the street to the hotel, then up the driveway to enter the lobby. If there was any video security system, I didn't see it. Considering the nearby neighborhood, I didn't feel all that safe.

The location is nice and the building itself is what you would expect from New Orleans. The major downside is how thin the walls are. I woke up multiple times throughout the night, as did my wife, due to the loud nightlife. Aside from that, it wasn't a bad experience. There are lots for your vehicles, and they do get locked up during the night. I didn't get to stay for the breakfast and it was too cold to test out the outdoor pool, but they looked rather nice. Overall I enjoyed the experience.

Cons:The previous occupants must of vomited on the floor near the bed it could’ve been cleaned a lot better since I almost stepped on someone else’s dry vomit. Other than that everything was great.

Pros:I like the location of the hotel. I was in close proximity to several well rated restaurants and sights.
Cons:There were several roaches found in the room. Noticed some stains on the bedding. The toilet was dirty. Checkout dates were mixed up so had a bit of difficulty trying to sort that out. Lastly, upon checking out I was charged for parking although I did not have a vehicle. It was eventually settled but a hassle to waste of time getting it taken vare of.

Cons:The customer service was very bad. I tried several times to reach the front desk without success. The wifi and cable were both out our entire stay. Parking was not included in the price as indicated. Valet service was not communicated with so we had issues getting our car several times. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Pros:Beds were comfortable and location was nice.
Cons:The grounds were trashy and the pool was gross. We often witnessed staff standing around talking and smoking. Staff would walk past trash on the ground, more than once, and never stopped to pick it up. The pool had a grease film on the surface of the water and a film on the tile edge. I brought the condition of the pool to the staff's attention and was told it would be cleaned that day, that never happened. The film on the tile easily scraped off with my thumb nail, I am sure a simple brushing would get the film off with little difficulty. If our roommate had showed himself on day one we would not have stayed at this location but the roach I found walking on the bedside table only joined us on our last day.

Cons:When we got to the room after checking in our hotel room door was open, the beds were a disaster, not made up in the least bit, trash in the trash cans & one... Yes ONE towel. No pillow cases at alllll the entire weekend even after requesting them numerous times. The only staff member worth anything was the security guard, super nice and very helpful, front desk lady was somewhat nice seemed too annoyed and not very helpful, took off the parking pass fee but I wasn't really interested in any of the other stuff... Security guard even told us that he tried to tell her to help us and all she said was "what you want me to do?!" When we told them the beds were not made or anything they just handed us one and a half sets of sheets and we had to strip and make out own beds... Not worth it, would rather pay the extra money next year for st patties weekend, very disappointing.
