I was given a free upgrade car. 2021 GMC. Also I saved an additional 70$ upon arrival. Overall I would recommend kayakCons:
A Gas filled car. Upon arrival they did not have a fueled vehicle ready. I had to refill myself. But at the return of the rental I had the option to bring it back the way I picked it up. So good thing is I didn’t have to refill before drop off.10.0 Wonderful

Nothing. Complete disappointment.Cons:
When they see you are a Kayak/Priceline customer there is NO customer service. The little I saved by going thru them they literally screwed me with the insurance. You can pay for the car at the counter but NIOT the insurance! You are not told that up front. The staff was most unhelpful. They never showed me tthe car or went over anything - no time for Kayak/Priceline customers at all!10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
Drop off was on day office closed and was easy. Just write down mileage, date and time returned. .Cons:
Office closed at 5pm and pick up was scheduled for 5pm. When I got there a little late due to lack of signage for pick up and traffic, they were closed and it cost me a day of vacation. No number to call or anything. When I called Hertz, it went to National line and they wouldn’t help me because I booked through Kayak. When I went the next morning to pick it up, I mentioned it to the counter person and she was rude about it and not concerned.4.0 Mediocre

Our car was not available so they “upgraded” us but it wasn’t really what we needed in terms of luggage space. The car was clearly not cleaned before we got it, which besides being gross is also a Covid concern. Plus the gas tank was only 3/4 full. We were not given any sort of compensation for the gas shortage, just a shrug and a comment to put it in our survey.Mayfair
