Travelling from Thessaloniki to Pefkochori is a journey of 110 kilometers, approximately two hours drive. In Pefkochori however, everything is reachable via foot or hired bycyle. To travel outside of the town a taxi can be hired from any of the local resorts.

During the day, head to one of the local hot spots such as 'Akti Tou Vlachou' for a beer or Greek cuisine. The town holds many events during the year with the famous ITENBA sailing boat races starting from Pefkochori's 'Glarokavos' natural marina. Day tour boats are also available for short cruises and further afield, making Pefkochori a great base for exploring the Kassandra Peninsula.
