Easy pick up and very easy drop off. The whole car rental process was very smooth and stress free. The member of staff I was talking to at the pick up was very friendly and polite. He even recommended some sights yo visit on my trip.

The wait on the check in line at Venice Marco Polo airport car rental area is a little frustrating because you need to pick up a ticket and then wait sometimes quite a while in a crowded room to have your turn at the desk, but once we got to the desk, our assistant was very helpful and she answered all my questions, including the process for paying tolls which is so important if you’re traveling long distances in Italy! I was not offered similar helpful information with another company when I rented there several days earlier so I knew to ask about some things that were not clear with the last rental. We were provided a toll tracking device that attached to the windshield and made going through all the tolls very easy, and the price was of the tolls was included in the daily service charge. I was assured that I could return the car by midnight at that location and when we did return, it was 9:30 PM and at the car return spot, there were no people there to help but there was a very easy key return slot. As of the following morning. I’m still waiting for my confirmation of the rental return by email with the final charges, though. It was very easy to get back to the car rental return at that airport. We were given a brand new Fiat 600 with automatic transmission, which had an interesting push button selector for the gears, but that was not a problem. There was interface for Apple CarPlay, which made navigating from our phone really helpful for navigation and we had no problems with the functioning of the car. It was super clean when we got it, but it was expected since it was very new. It was such a cute color, too, not that that was important, but it was fun. I will definitely rent from budget in Venice airport again in the future.

Rental car was excellent , representative was excellent and his command of English was perfect!! No complaints whatsoever
I was charged 100 Euros for 2 receipts and a power cord that were left in the car. And I missed my train because when I went to drop it off during regular business hours, nobody was there. I had to ask a different rental company where to park the car. When I got to the parking garage to park it, nobody was there, so I left my rental receipt in the car along with a power cable I left behind. They charged my 100 Euros to throw those 2 things away. So after that whole thing, we had to take a later train to our destination, throwing off our whole schedule. And I feel like I was robbed of that 100 Euros. In the future, why would we use Hertz when Avis was available, much more helpful, and wouldn't have charged us 100 Euros for this cleaning of our rental receipts?
They said our car we had signed up for on kayak was not available and up-charged us triple for another car. That car then immediately had a flat tire when we drove off on freeway and ended up having to wait over 6-7 hours for a tow truck and to get another car to take its place. Terrible experience. Missed our reservations that night and first day plans. Ended up sitting in the airport all day waiting for another car for Sixt to give us. . We have to go back now and try and email sixt and get a refund on part of trip charges. A mess.

We were given a brand new puegot 508 gt wagon. Car was comfortable and drove beautifully. Only complaint was the original car wasn’t big enough and we did have to upgrade. Please make sure as the size is misleading.
The drop-off experience in Geneva was the worst rental car experience I've ever had. There were no instructions on where to go. And once I found Avis, I was told it was the wrong location at GVA airport (there are two). After 30 min of driving around GVA airport, I still couldn't find it, so I returned it to the other location.

On Kayak I rented and paid for a premium Suv category they gave me a different category so I am not satisfied with the value of my money.I paid more for a lower category car. I would like to get a better explanation about this on your side.Please check and inform me. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Wrong Address on Kayak. They says my Credit Card couldn't been used (I've used it the whole day, before and after) just so I had to pay with Debit Card and buy an additional insurance. Rude people

The booking was at 23:00 and because the office was outside the airport terminal we had to, supposedly, take the free shuttle bus. We were looking for the bus for 30 min and in the meantime try to call the company but nobody picked up the phone. When we finally arrived, with a normal bus, the place was closed and we couldn’t get in touch with any member of the rental company. The day after the booking was cancelled and no car was available, the only thing available was a 9 seater for twice the price plus the cheap price on the site is not including any extra like, if we took the vehicle, there was an extra charge to go outside Italy. Avoid at all costs, I am glad they cancelled our booking.

They do over charge and almost forcing you to buy an extra insurance even you do have one, and keeps saying your own is not good enough, stopping the paper work when you say you wont buy it. The price of the rental went from 40€ to 170€ EXTRA. the adress they gave was wrong, had to walk 10 min on a trafficed road to get to the right adress.

No airport office or signage. Address listed on rental confirmation was an apartment building. The phone number for the rental agency (listed on the confirmation page) was to another car rental agency that knew nothing about our rental, or the rental company. Had to use Whatsapp to find and call the Surprice rental agency. Finally got the correct address. When we got to the office, it was 4km from airport and doing business as AutoOne. Three workers behind the counter. I was 4th in line. Took over 45min before I got checked in. The vehicle was great, and returning the vehicle was very quick and easy. Kayak and Expedia need to better research or vet the companies they are working with.

The rent was closed when I arrived. They close at 23.00 and I indicated that I would collect the car after 23.00 giving also the details of my flight and paid an extra for out of hours collection. I would have expected them to send me a message or to cancel the rental given they surely knew they would not be there when I landed, instead I had to discover it at midnight when I passed the border controls and scrambled to find an alternative. I managed to get a full refund after speaking with the company who provided the booking.
