I arrived, and they had the wrong car. They had an SUV-type 7-seater, but I booked a people carrier van. They didn't have any available, so I had to wait 90 minutes with 3 children for the car to be ready. They claimed the issue with the booking was with Kayak/Expedia, and they made me pay the difference in upgrading the car. I showed them the booking confirmation and the picture of the van/people carrier with 9 seats, but they still made me pay. I was so tired and knew I needed the van that I had to pay to get out of the place. The manager was helpful, and the people were lovely. But I find all car rental places to be borderline crooks. This just confirmed it again for me. There are ridiculous add-ons for mileage, car seats for kids (a legal requirement), insurance, and excess. The list goes on.Reviewed 4 Jun 2024

Green Motion office was closed and we could not collect our car despite us checking in earlier and informing them of my flight number . Predatory practices around car damage, and didn't accept the 3rd party insurance coverage that I had purchased. At the point of pickup I then needed to provide additional coverage through my credit card. Poor communication and customer service throughout.Reviewed 2 Jun 2024

I like the rate. I did not like that my insurance card had to be presented because my insurance card lives in my personal vehicle. This was the first time renting a car that my I had to present the insurance card to rent the car. Also I was not happy that the car insurance i paid for on the web site was not accepted by Green Motion. i had to purchase additional insurance to rent your vehicle. I also did not like that once inside the rental facility the line stated "U-Save" and not Green Motion. Please clarify that it is the same agency in the future.Reviewed 29 May 2024
